CARE PACKAGE ASSEMBLY - Come and fellowship on Saturday, February 23rd, at 10:00am as the UMW of Fairhaven will meet to assemble care packages for students, service personnel and shut-ins, in the Fellowship Hall. This ministry is about caring, sharing and encouraging those we hold dear in our hearts. Please contact Jacquee Strawther by phone (1-301-797-8691) or e-mail (JacqueeS@verizon.net) with names of people that you want to be remembered. Donations of any kind will be appreciated – including packaged snack items (crackers, candy, nuts, etc.) Please place items in the purple box in the Narthex. Checks should be made payable to UMW.
FAIRHAVEN CHRISTIAN BOOK CLUB - The February 7th meeting (from 7pm–8:30pm) will be a discussion on the book “End of Your Life Book Club” by Will Schwalb.
CHARITY QUILTERS GROUP - Come on out for some sewing fun and fellowship, join the Charity Quilters Group on Thursday, February 7th and Tuesday, February 26th at 9:30am in the Fellowship Hall. No experience necessary. All smiling faces welcome.

HOST A COFFEE HOUR - One of God’s gifts of the Spirit is the gift of Hospitality. Maybe hosting a coffee-hour is a way you could use or develop that God-given gift.
A sign-up sheet is available on the bulletin board in the long hallway – on the way to Fellowship Hall – and Coffee Hour!
The Joint Scholarship Task Force encourages students to apply to The Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church Scholarship Program for 2013. Scholarships are awarded to undergraduate students’ enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university in the United States. Instructions and access to the online application process can be found on the conference website. Please review all the instructions and qualifications on the Scholarship webpage http://www.bwcumc.org/finance/college-scholarships as they have changed from last year. Students must complete the online application each year. Only online applications will be accepted. The online application opens January 10 and must be completed and submitted by April 30, 2013. The scholarship award letters will be sent out the week of July 30.
