Meet our new Pastor! Coming to Fairhaven July 2013
Rev. Esther M. Holimon, a native New Yorker, was ordained in The United Methodist Church in 1983 and has served the following churches: Ames (Bel Air, MD), Metropolitan Memorial (Wash, DC), St. Paul (Chevy Chase, MD), Christ (Wash, DC) and Union Memorial (Baltimore, MD) since July 1, 2000.
Trained in the field of Speech Pathology and Audiology, Rev. Holimon graduated from Hampton University and became a Speech Therapist in the New York City public school system.
Following her long held desire to live in the Nation's Capitol, she was employed in the corporate world while attending Howard University School of Divinity part time. It was during this time that she received her call to the ministry.
Her current interest is in the area of Healing, either through spiritual, physical or nutritional means. She serves on the District Committee of Ordained Ministry and the District Superintendency Committee for the Baltimore Metropolitan District.
Rev. Holimon enjoys traveling and has visited Africa, Europe, North America and the Caribbean. She is the proud mother of her 19 year old son, Evan.
